I can’t live & hold the camera, someone’s gotta tape this

I pledged into a sorority, got accepted to become an RA, got invited to report LIVE from the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards which you will be seeing me doing in September in LOS ANGELES ON THE RED CARPET, delivered my million dollar speech and landed 4 internships in New York City for the summer, and STILL MANAGED TO END THE SEMESTER WITH A 3.6 DESPITE everything that went down with the marathon bombings. Spring 2013 will officially be coined THEEEEE most challenging semester of my college life.

FEELING SO VERY UNSTOPPABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’M SO PROUD OF MYSELF, I JUST NEEDED THIS MOMENT TO BRAG A LITTLE BUT REALLY IT’S MORE LIKE ACKNOWLEDGING MY HARD WORK THIS SEMESTER, IN ADDITION TO ALL OF WHAT I LISTED ABOVE BUT I ALSO TRANSITIONED BACK INTO THE BOSTON CAMPUS PRETTY WELL TOO!!! BUT ALL IN ALL CAN WE GO A LITTLE CRAZY ABOUT ME BEING ON THE RED CARPET FOR THE EMMY AWARDS IN A FEW MONTHS MY GOD, IT’S TIME TO HIT THE STREETS RUNNING AGAIN I CANNOT WAITTTTTTTT BDFKBFSDBFSBDFSKHGKJSGBEKBGERB ugh GOD IS JUST TOO AMAZING. I GOTTA GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY AND THANK HIM.  IT’S ALL HIM. EVERY BIT OF IT, IN HINDSIGHT I TAKE NO CREDIT, ALL I NEED IS FOR MY FAMILY TO BE HEALTHY, HAPPY, AND SAFE, AND I’M GOOD. 

oh, and I guess a large part of this semester’s success was how much I was also able to work at my job, save, and cater to my mom this semester. I mean I was literally transferring money into her account relentlessly this semester and it felt so good. I treated her to a 300 dollar birthday dinner, went grocery shopping for the house, visited when I could, paid her phone bill, it FEELS SO GOOD. To say I did those things, to say I’m DOING these things…I’m becoming more and more of a woman each day and there’s nothing more that I WANT than to be able to do all of these things and to live my life the way that I want to while growing as a person each and everyday. Oh, I also started working out and eating a little better (SORT OF) & how could I forget MY BEST FRIEND AND I MANAGED TO MAKE ONE OF OUR LIFE DREAMS COME TRUE. She’s officially graduating from college and we both saved up to purchase my tickets to fly to LA to see her do that. I’m so proud of her, that’s my other half man, my everything!!!! We used to talk about being able to do this when we were younger but now it’s actually happening and I just can’t believe it, I’M SO READY FOR YOU SUMMER 2013….& HOLY SHIT I TURN 21 IN AUGUST!!!! LIKE….IT’S ABOUT TO BE A RAP, I’M GONNA BE IN THE HAMPTONS LIKE WHATTTTTTTTT IS THIS LIFE THAT I’VE BEEN BLESSED WITH. I’m thankful for the friendships I made this semester the new ones and the strengthening of the old ones. I’m thankful for my family here in Boston for giving me a place to come to whenever I just needed my culture and to be surrounded by people who love me unconditionally, i’m thankful for clean water, for food, for life, for love, and for my drive to be a better person and to not be corrupted. Thank you GOD for keeping me focused. TUNNEL VISION. 

You know they say at the end of pain is success & right now after all that I endured this semester I can finally say I am one step closer to my dreams!
